Harbour Master & Chief Operations Officer for the Port of Cork and Bantry Port Company. Captain O’Regan spent 15 years at sea with various companies prior to taking up a shore based position in the maritime industry.

Paul joined the Port of Cork Company in 2004 as a pilot, in 2007 he joined the Harbour Masters team as Deputy Harbour Master. In 2013, Paul was appointed as Harbour Master and Chief Operations Officer.

As Harbour Master he has statutory responsibility for the safety of shipping, pilotage, emergency planning, port security and vessel traffic control.

Paul is the current President of the International Harbour Masters Assiocation.
