Carsten-S. Wibel started seafaring as cadet in 1983 with Seereederei FRIGGA on bulk carriers, after which he gained more experience on multi-purpose vessel and barge/container carrier. After graduating within marine engineering at the University of Applied Sciences as Diplom-Ingenieur “Schiffsbetriebstechnik” in Hamburg he joined “Bugsier-, Reederei- und Bergungs-Gesellschaft”. Sailing several years on BUGSIER’s container vessels, offshore- and harbor tugs as well as on the well-known salvage tug OCEANIC he moved for two years to a R&D-Institute. In the year 2000 Carsten was employed again by BUGSIER as project manager projecting e.g. the emergency towing vessel NORDIC. 2018 he changed his job and commences being engaged by ABEKING & RASMUSSEN Schiffs- und Yachtwerft SE as Sales Director Special Vessels. Meanwhile Carsten became Managing Director of A&R Special Vessels GmbH addicted to activities such as sales, development and construction of vessels for pilots, governmental authorities, coastal and fishery protection and other public or commercial clients.
