Opening Ceremony
Industry Perspectives and General Assembly
Following an opening ceremony reflecting the culture of the Kingdon of the Netherlands, industry stakeholders will provide their perspectives on developments affecting international shipping and provide the industry context for pilotage as a public service.
This session will include presentations, open discussions and Q&A** on matters including:
- Priority issues for industry
- The role of vetting regimes in enhancing safety and pollution prevention
- The role of intelligent ports
- Latest developments in navigation and communications technology
The day will conclude with a closed session for the XXVI General Assembly, including the election of Executive Officers.
